Coster GCA Gas Solenoid Valves are designed to shut off gas supplies in an emergency. When the valve coils are not powered, the valve stays closed to prevent gas passing downstream. Once power is restored, the coils automatically reset and allow gas flow again.
The GCA range is available from 15mm up to 300mm. Sizes 15–50mm are supplied with BSP female threaded connections, while 65mm and above use PN16 flanged connections. Standard power is 230Vac, with a 24V option available on request.
Valves from 32mm to 150mm can be installed in horizontal or vertical pipe runs, as long as the coil is not facing downward. A Closed Position Indicator (CPI switch) can be added to provide remote confirmation of valve status, and this is supplied as standard on 200–300mm sizes. CPI switches can only be fitted on horizontal installations.
