Honeywell J48 Low Pressure Gas Regulator

The J48 is a widely recognised gas pressure regulator used across low-pressure installations. Manufactured by Elster/Honeywell, it uses an internal impulse system to sense inlet pressure and maintain a consistent preset outlet pressure.

J48 regulators are available with BSP female threaded connections from 20mm to 80mm, and PN16 flanged connections from 65mm to 150mm. They can be installed in either horizontal or vertical pipework runs.

Maximum inlet pressure is 350mbar, with a standard maximum outlet pressure of 160mbar. The 100mm and 150mm versions can be set up to 345mbar. Quick-release spring adjusters allow easy outlet pressure setting without dismantling the regulator, and the unit can be sealed to prevent tampering.

Full Positive Lock Up is included to shut the regulator when demand stops or outlet pressure approaches the set point, helping protect downstream equipment.
