Honeywell J78 Low Pressure Gas Regulator

The J78 range is a compact, cost-effective gas regulator designed for small domestic systems and manufactured by Honeywell. It is available in 15mm, 20mm, and 25mm sizes, all with BSP female threaded connections, and can be installed in either horizontal or vertical pipework runs.

The J78 uses internal pressure sensing to reduce inlet pressures up to 350mbar down to an outlet pressure of up to 40mbar. Certain sizes can be set slightly higher, up to 46mbar (see the spring table on the datasheet for details). All J78 regulators are suitable for Natural Gas, LPG, and Manufactured Gases.

For added safety, the J78 includes positive lock-up when flow demand drops. It also includes a breather port to vent small amounts of gas and help maintain the preset outlet pressure. The J78R has a plain breather connection, while the J78RS includes a 1/4" female threaded connection. This venting option is available where required.
